Alert - Mondo Mania Sweeps the Nation!

Taco Del Mar owners report being overwhelmed by customers pleading for Mondo burritos.  “I was so worried I wouldn’t be able to get my Mondo fix,” said Charlie Pesce.  “I couldn’t survive without it - but luckily TDM stores are all locally-owned small businesses so I can continue to get my Mondo whenever I need it.”

Taco Del Mar store owners report that Mondo Mania can be calmed with immediate application of a Mondo - chicken, carnitas or beef work equally well.  Continued signs of burrito cravings brought on by the stress of daily living can only be treated with repeated and frequent Mondo consumption.

Treat your Mondo Mania now - order a Mondo Burrito today!!

Translation for Non-Delmarians:

Taco Del Mar stores are all independently-owned locally managed small businesses.  Taco Del Mar customers should see no difference in business operations or activity because of recently announced changes at Taco Del Mar Franchising Corp.

Support your locally-owned Taco Del Mar - order a Mondo Burrito today!

TDM Bookmarks Encourage Reading

Taco Del Mar has teamed up with local schools to provide an extra incentive for children to read.

We have a program where we supply local schools with bookmarks that the teachers can give out to students when they complete a reading assignment.  These bookmarks are good for a free kid's meal (no purchase necessary) at the Happy Valley or West Linn Taco Del Mar.

Our bookmarks are currently in Happy Valley Elementary & Oregon Trail Elementary.  We are in the process of producing additional bookmarks for several more schools in the Clackamas and West Linn School Districts.

"The bookmarks are a motivating way for kids to continue on their own reading journeys."

Shelly Reggiani, Principal
Happy Valley Elementary School

Reward Cards do just that... Reward.

If you aren't taking advantage of our Reward Card Program, you should start now.  It's simple, get a punch for every $5 you spend and when you accumulate 10 punches, you get $5 off of your next visit.  Awesome, huh?  But, it get's better.  Monday's are Double Punch Day!  Get 2 punches for every $5 you spend, they add up quick.

I try and encourage each customer to start a Card, not just because it may drive repeat business, but because I actually enjoy redeeming every full card.  Sure, as a business owner, I'm giving you $5 in free food, but I don't look at it that way.  I see that customer as someone who's been in before, probably many times, and will most likely come again because they feel rewarded!

We happily redeem anywhere from 10 to 15 cards per day at each of our locations.

Come in and get punched and Get Rewarded!

Top 10 Best Fast-Casual Family Restaurants

Parent's Magazine WebsiteI know this is old news(July 2009), but I think it's worth noting to all of you who haven't seen it.

-
Taco Del Mar, a quick service Mexican restaurant chain featuring beach-style mondo burritos, made Parents magazine’s list of America’s “Top 10 Best Fast-Casual Family Restaurants.”  The Parents magazine’s survey is the result of a two-month study that honors restaurants with a variety of healthy kids’ menu offerings, family-friendly conveniences and overall value.

Ranked ninth on the list, here’s an excerpt from Parents magazine about Taco Del Mar:”Your kids are bound to get something out of the norm.  Unlike many Mexican chains that put American food on the children’s menu, the only picks at Taco Del Mar are ethnic faves like beef, chicken, and fish tacos; rice and beans; and bean burritos. ”
