Taco Del Mar (Happy Valley & West Linn) has sponsored the Potwora Family Team in the 2010 Relay For Life of North Clackamas. It's an American Cancer Society fundraising event.

At the American Cancer Society Relay For Life, our team will camp out overnight and take turns walking around the track to raise money and awareness to help the American Cancer Society save more lives from cancer. By joining or donating to our team, you will be a part of a life-changing event that gives everyone in the community a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against a disease that takes too much.

Please make a donation, or join our team and help us create a world where cancer can no longer claim another year of anyone’s life.

Happy Valley Fun Run 2010

This is the 3rd year that the Happy Valley Taco Del Mar has sponsored the fun run. The proceeds of this event go to Happy Valley Elementary. It was held on Saturday, May 15th and the weather could not have been better. Thanks to all of the volunteers/organizers for their hard work in putting together a smoothly ran event. 3 races took place, the 1 mile kid's dash, the 5k run and the 10k run. A short video of the beginning of the race is below.

Cinco de Mondo for Cinco de Mayo

This is the 2nd year we've run the "Cinco de Mondo" promotion on Cinco de Mayo. It's basically a 5 lb burrito or the equivalent of 4 Mondo Burritos. Last year, our West Linn location sold 9 5lb'rs with only 1 person finishing the burrito in under 30 minutes. At Happy Valley, we sold 6 and nobody was able to finish it. This year, we have a number of regular customers coming in tomorrow and they all claim they are going to take down the 80 oz Mondo!

So, the price is $19.95 and if you finish it, following all of the rules, you get $20 in gift certificates(basically your money back).

Up for the Challenge? Better hold off eating breakfast, it's HUGE!

Our Two-Fer Tuesday permanent promotion offers our customers a 2-Taco combo meal for a great price, $5.49. You get 2 tacos on your choice of soft flour, soft corn or hardshell corn tortilla. Our tacos come with your choice of meat, cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo, sauce, cilantro and jalapenos. In addition, you also get a side of rice & beans, all for $5.49 All Day Every on Tuesdays.
